Versi 1198 yang dilancarkan pada bulan April lalu kalau tak silap dibuka pada harga RM158K-RM187K sebuah. Bayangkanlah harga sebuah motosikal untuk model superbike 1198R Corse Special Edition ini yang dilengkapi aksesori standard dicedok dari teknologi MotoGp.

Kalau harga setelah dihapuskan cukai CBU sekalipun motosikal ini masih melebehi nilai RM100K kerana Ducati tidak seperti model2 sport ekstrem dari Jepun. Ia seolah2 ada nilai ekslusif tersendiri dan jawapan ini kita boleh tanya kepada pemilik2 fanatik Ducati.
